The American Vegan Society writes that more families are vegan because there are more innovations, a wider desire for it and greater availability. More and more vegan foods look just like the foods people are used to eating. Kiwanis Pasta Dinner Fundraiser “Take-Out” Only
SAND LAKE – The Sand Lake Kiwanis Club wants to invite all to participate in the next Pasta Dinner fundraiser on Saturday April 10th from 4PM to 7PM at the Sand Lake Veterans Hall on Rt. 43. Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for Kids (10yrs. & Younger), or $25 Special for a Family of 4. Meals will consist of pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, & dessert. All Meals are Drive-Up/Take-Out. Pre Orders may be made starting at 2 PM (on the day of the event) by calling (518) 421-1339. Pasta Dinners will continue to be held every second Saturday of each month. All proceeds support Kiwanis community projects.
South Schodack Fire Company Spring BBQ
SOUTH SCHODACK – The South Schodack Volunteer Fire Company Spring BBQ fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Drive-Thru, Take Out Only, No reservations needed. Spring 2021 Chicken BAR-B-Q
POESTENKILL – The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Poestenkill, 772 Route 351, Poestenkill, NY 12140 will hold our Spring 2021 Chicken Bar-B-Q on Saturday, May 1st at the church with a DRIVE-THROUGH, TAKE-OUT ONLY dinner.
The meal consists of: ½ chicken, baked potato, green beans, Cole slaw, cranberry sauce, roll and choice of homemade Cherry or Lemon Meringue pie for dessert for a donation of $13 per meal or $7 for ½ chicken only while supply lasts.
