What are some of the reasons people go vegan? Usually they do this for environmental, nutritional, ethical or ascetic reasons. Vegans eschew all forms of flesh – seafood, fowl and meat. What do they “chew”? Nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables. And they never have to worry about their weight. Vegans also refuse to use animal derived products like silk, wool, leather and honey. Vegans live harmlessly. Join us.

Free Chicken & Biscuits Dinner

SPEIGLETOWN – Transfiguration Parish on Hillview Drive in Speigletown is offering Fish Fry dinners on each Friday during Lent (thru March 26th) from 4:00-6:00 pm. TAKE-OUT ONLY. Fish Fry dinners include fish fry, french fries and cole slaw (with choice of tartar, cocktail or chili sauce)-$10; mac and cheese is also available at $4.50.
