Schodack Valley Pizza & Wings Night
CASTLETON – The Schodack Valley Volunteer Fire Company is holding their monthly Pizza and Wings takeout fundraiser on Saturday February 20th. Our hours are 4-7pm. Please call 477-4215 to place your order. Our special pie of the month is Bacon Tomato (who doesn’t love bacon). Our firehouse is located at 1553 Schodack Valley Rd. Castleton NY. A big Thank You goes out to all our friends that have make this fundraiser a great success.
Gilead’s Body & Soul Pantry & Free Community Dinner
CENTER BRUNSWICK – Now that we have reached February it should mean we are much closer to Spring and warmer weather. We may not be able to give you warmer weather, but we are able to warm your honey’s heart. This month our menu will be Chicken Parm, Ziti, Salad, and Dessert. Just give your honey an I O U on Valentine’s Day with the Promise of a nice dinner on Feb. 25th. Unfortunately, we are still limited to take outs only.
Again, the date is February 25th and our hours are from 3:00-6:00 PM at Gilead Lutheran Church, located at the intersection of Routes 7 & 278 in Center Brunswick, NY.
We encourage you to call Lisa at 518-279-3576 to order your pantry items. By doing this she and her workers can have your order ready for you.
Free Chicken & Biscuits Dinner
TROY – Pawling Ave UMC, 520 Pawling Ave, Saturday February 27 from 3-4:30. TAKE OUT ONLY! Dinners are limited to 50 (we are also donating dinners to Joseph’s House and Hope 7 Food Pantry) and reservations are required NLT Feb 22 at 9 pm. Call Melanie Keith 518-779-6004 for reservations. Dinner includes chicken & gravy, homemade biscuits, green beans and Texas Sheet Cake for dessert. Remember, this FREE dinner is TAKE-OUT ONLY and pick up time is 3-4:30 pm on Saturday, Feb 27, 2021.
Transfiguration Parish in Speigletown Hosting Lenten Take-Out Fish Fry Dinners
SPEIGLETOWN – Transfiguration Parish at Hillview Drive in Speigletown is offering Take-Out Fish Fry Dinners from 4:00-6:00 pm on the six Fridays of Lent beginning February 19. Customers should preorder and select their pick-up time, and can place their orders each week from Sunday to Friday until noon. Customers must pay with cash when they pick up their order on Friday. Customers need to wear masks and practice social distancing during pick-up. Orders can be placed on line by accessing this website:
