Glendora Vegetarian Club

An eight-year-old ran into the house shouting, “Grandma, Grandma, I dropped my lunch bag in the driveway and Dad backed the car over it”.   Grandma said , “That’s Wheels on Meals”.

Unsettling to report, Meals on Wheels does not provide a vegan option. They make us take milk. This milk is stolen from a baby calf and his mom. The calf is then imprisoned in a small tight enclosure, where he cannot move much, causing him to have flaccid muscles. He is fed a formula that results in anemia. All this to make veal. The mother is robbed of her baby that she has nurtured and grown inside her body for months. Then people steal her milk and sell it for money. Meals on Wheels makes Glendora accept a carton of milk every noon. The home-delivered meal always includes a cut-up animal. Come on people, you are behind the times.

Go Vegan!

Let the Glendora Vegetarian Club extol the logistics of delivering a hot meal every noon and for their Goodwill and cheer.

The minister announced from the pulpit, “This Sunday we are starting a men’s study group”. Glendora rose and said, “I’ll be there, I’ve been studying men for years and I still don’t understand them”. Last night the Glendora vegetarian Club gathered at Berben and Wolff’s on Lark Street, Albany New York, at 6 p.m., for a delicious and thrilling vegan meal. The last Wednesday of February we will meet at the vegan Diner thrive in Pittsfield Massachusetts for more information call Glendora at 518-610-5810.
