Glendora Vegetarian Club

Glendora called Goomba’s Pizza and asked if she bought and brought her own vegan cheese would Goomba’s make her a pizza. AJ said yes. (And he delivers!) So the Glendora Vegetarian Club had its monthly meeting the last Wednesday of the month at Goomba’s.

Have you tried the new vegan diner on Wahconah St. in Pittsfield? Glendora thinks it’s a charmer. Choice is voluminous,

and the food is exquisite.

The Glendora Vegetarian Club has consummated four half-hour shows on DVD for each of 20 TV stations from Groton, CT, to San Diego, CA. They carry the most important messages in all of television: Go vegan and When all is said and done, the only thing that really matters is how you treat others. In her book Eat Vegan with Me, Mary Lawrence says, “Thank you, Glendora, for making compassion the main course.”

Would you like to be a vegan gardener next year? Eat Vegan with Me has ideas for everything from planting seeds to nurturing sprouts to enjoying the crops.

The Glendora Vegetarian Club has adopted the goal of presenting to you a different commercial every time on the 6:30 pm news, CBS Channel 6: a joke to make you laugh and a strong impetus to go vegan.

Jokes:

1. A man said his wife is on a special exercise program: aerobic spending.

2. A man in college had the women running in circles around him. His wife said, “He was the track coach.”

Following are the 10 Commandments written in language for children:

1. Love God more than you love anything else.

2. Don’t make anything in your life more important than God.

3. Always say God’s name with love and respect.

4. Honor the Lord by resting on the 7th day of the week.

5. Love and respect your mom and dad.

6. Never hurt anyone.

7. Always be faithful to your husband or wife.

8. Don’t take anything that isn’t yours.

9. Always tell the truth.

10. Don’t wish for other people’s things.
