Glendora Vegetarian Club

According to the Humane Farming Association their campaign to boycott veal production has had positive effects, veal production plummeted to 2.5 million calves from a previous high of 3.4 million.  Veal production was a rapidly expanding segment of the meat industry, but after activism by HFA (full page advertisements), the numbers have been reduced.  During the 1990s, HFA launched undercover investigations and attacks on the industry’s methods of operation.

The HFA was successful in reducing the use of growth hormones, and extensive publicity has repulsed large segments of the general public about it. As the work continues, there is great success in preventing the suffering of millions of animals. Thanks to activism and support, veal production numbers have dwindled to their current low level. McDonalds has started a vegan burger in Berlin, one of their most lucrative markets.  With great excitement, the Glendora Vegetarian Club awaits its arrival in our county. Glendora took a dog to lunch. What? Yes. Where? She took her to the new vegan restaurant THRIVE in Pittsfield. The Beyond Meat burger cost $12 and was gone in 2 gulps. What does Santa call his helpers?  Subordinate clauses.
