Glendora Vegetarian Club

A man said he was so ugly as a kid that his mother hired a neighbor child to play his part in the home movies. Similarly, Glendora could not find enough classmates for her high school reunion. She had to invite friends to play their part. So, 19 of us gathered at the international dining room, Lee Hall, American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts. Just 4 of us made it as alumni of the class of 1946, Classical High School.  Fifteen Glendora friends filled in for the rest. The staff of vegan chefs of American International College created an exciting vegan entre and vegan dessert.  We rejected the butter and bread because they were not vegan. The tab was picked up by the Glendora Vegetarian Club $240. The guests came from as far as Philadelphia and White Plains.  Glendora told jokes the way she used to in high school. Crawford related his career as President of G and C Merriam, publishers of Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary.  Dr. Gordon, a Harvard PhD, recounted his scintillating career as a lecturer in psychology. So, at 90 years old, IV of us out of 323 made our 73rd high school reunion.
