Glendora Vegetarian Club
On March 20, 2019, Wednesday, the vernal equinox, WRGB CBS News6 circa 6:00pm presented a feature on Glendora and her years of doing children’s shows, 1955-1962, the hostess Julia Dunn. Her feature is “Positively Upstate”. When Glendora lived in Buffalo, Albany was not “upstate”; it was downstate. If you live in Manhattan, upstate is 249th street. Herein are the statistics on the Glendora Vegetarian Club. Total spent on V.C. activities is $31339, with 840 pages of record, and 1902 hours of time. The Glendora vegan commercials to help the animals will be on CBS college basketball the month of March, and also on the 6:30pm news March 18, to March 22. Some athletes think that they need meat to get protein and build muscles, but this can be had from vegetables and grains. Some athletes use the “protein powders” and blend shakes for nutrition, but there is little evidence that this provides any benefit over eating whole foods to improve performance -states American Vegan Society.

East Greenbush Fire Company Friday Fish and Chips Nights
The 2019 East Greenbush Fire Company Friday night Fish and Chips Nights are back. Dates for the Fish and Chips nights are March 22nd, 29th, April 5th, 12th, and 19th, between 4:30 and 7:30 PM. Featuring fresh lightly breaded fresh haddock fillets, lightly breaded clam strips, and grilled hot dogs, each served on a bun with French fries and homemade coleslaw.
