Glendora Vegetarian Club

February 25, 2019, Monday, the Glendora Television shows 1955 to 1962 on WRGB Channel 6 Schenectady were reincarnated, they came back to life as little 8-year-olds as chief mates from Beverly Hills, Oregon, Hawaii, Pittsfield, manned their stations on the deck of the S. S. Glendora, and Satellite Six.  Glendora is 90.  The little sailors are 68. The reenactment was a creation of Library Director Tracey Collins Clague.  Last night the Glendora Vegetarian Club launched year 7. The dollars, hours and pages of record log in at $31216, 1882 hours and 837 pages of record.  Next week you can see a vegan commercial to help the animals 6:30pm-7:00pm, Mon-Fri, on Channel 6.  Please stop this cruelty to animals. When Glendora looks deeply into the eyes of an animal, it’s as if she sees a person in there. Now you would not treat a person the way you treat these poor animals: imprisoned for life in feces and urine, beaten and bludgeoned, forced into a truck with an electric prod in the rectum, transported in 10degrees at 40mph in an open-slatted boxcar, tricked into a slaughterhouse, clubbed to the floor, skinned and cut up into pieces, sold for six pieces of silver.
