Save the Date! Roast Beef Dinner
Join us on Friday, January 11th, 4-7pm, at the Transfiguration Parish Hall, Hillview Drive, Speigletown.
We will be serving another delicious dinner at a reasonable price. We offer a salad, roast beef, potato, a vegetable, roll and butter. Adults, $11.00, Seniors (65+) $10.00 and affordable prices for teens and children. We also offer beer, wine, soda and dessert for purchase. East Schodack Fire Co. Pizza Night

Menu includes: Fresh made pizza- Cheese (red or white) $9, extra toppings $1 each. “the works”- $14, chicken wings- 10 for $9, mozzarella sticks- six for $3, and a huge salad bar- $3 a bowl. The Saratoga Springs United Methodist Church on 175 5th Avenue, will be hosting a Ham Dinner with Homemade Pies for dessert on Saturday, January 26th, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. Cost: Free-will donation. Come join us!

Brooks’ BBQ Chicken Dinner
Center Brunswick United Methodist Church Sunday School will host the Annual Brooks’ BBQ on January 5, from 2pm to 6pm.

4-H Cooking Class for Youth
The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County 4-H Youth Development program is holding a four-week Friday Night Chefs program. This session is for youth ten years and older who like to cook, and for those who would like to learn how to cook. The Friday Night Chefs will meet at the CCE office, located at 61 State St., Troy on the second floor, on Friday, January 18, 25; and February 1 and 8 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. There is a $25.00 registration fee for 4-H members and $30.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is required, and registration will be limited. Eat Smart – Live Strong
Rensselaer County’s Everett Wagar Senior Center, 2 Roxborough Road, Grafton NY– Rensselaer County’s Cooperative Extension will be on hand Wednesday, January 9, 2018, at 11 am, for our monthly Eat Smart – Live Strong cooking demonstration. There will be free recipes and samples for everyone who attends. Please join us for a nutritious meal at noon (entrée; Sliced Ham Cold Plate) for a suggested donation of $3.00; available Monday through Friday to all Rensselaer County seniors 60 years and older. Special Lunch at Everett Wagar Senior Center
Rensselaer County’s Everett Wagar Senior Center, 2 Roxborough Road, Grafton, NY – Friday, January 25, 2019 the Nutrition Department will hold its monthly Special Lunch, served at noon w/Entertainment, there will also be a 50/50 drawing. Our wonderful complete lunch is available to all Rensselaer County Seniors age 60 years of age and older, Monday thru Friday at noon, for a suggested contribution of $3.00. The Poestenkill Christian Church, 721 Snyder’s Corners Rd., Poestenkill, NY will have its monthly All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast on Saturday, January 5th, from 8:00-11:00 a.m. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $3.50 for children under 10. The Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus Council at 328 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham, New York, 12110, will host their January, “All- You-Can-Eat Breakfast” on Sunday, January 13th, 2019, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

End of Treatment Celebration
Join family and friends of the East Schodack Fire Company
On Friday, January 11th, to help Kelly Kendrick celebrate the end of her cancer treatments.
Homemade pizza, chicken wings and salad will be served buffet style.
Asking a donation of $15 for adults, $10 for kids 5-10 and free under 5 years old.
All proceeds will be donated to Kelly. Servings will be between 5-8 pm at
