Drive-Through Live Nativity

CASTLETON – “We need a little Christmas,” especially this year! Our regular routines of Christmas parties, concerts and visiting friends and relatives may not be happening this year, but we can still keep Christmas in a very special way. On Saturday, December 19 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Castleton is having a Live Nativity that can be viewed through the safety of your car. Come hear the Christmas Story told in a unique way as you drive through our Live Nativity. Through narration and song you will get to experience Christmas and learn of the Good News that the angels and shepherds told of over 2,000 years ago. We are located at 1150 Maple Hill Road in Castleton, adjacent to the Maple Hill High School. Call 518-732-7766 if you need more information. Let’s keep Christmas together!

Gilead Honors Military

CENTER BRUNSWICK – Gilead Lutheran Church honors our military all year. For the past two years we have displayed a decorated tree with flags and ornaments that represent each branch of the military. To continue this outreach, this year we added a red, white, and blue star to complete the picture. During this season and all year long, we especially need to honor and remember those who are serving and those who have served. There are links to Facebook and YouTube on our web site: gileadlutheran.org. In the year 2020 of the COVID virus, we recommend you join us on these virtual services in the celebration of the birth of Jesus and hopefully find comfort in the peace of the season and a congregation full of faith and hope and still serving the community. Gilead is located at 308 Brick Church Road, Center Brunswick. Our phone is 518-279-9270.
