Center Brunswick UMC to Resume Worship in Sanctuary

CENTER BRUNSWICK – The path to Faith leads us in many different directions in life. There is a time for every season as the song goes. Center Brunswick UMC has been in a season of isolation along with the rest of the world. Our faith has shown us how the seasons are changing and we are willing to follow our faith and resume in person worship on October 4th. We pray you will join us as we gather to worship together, following the guidelines from our safety plan. We understand there are those who are not able to join us in person, therefore we will continue to offer worship through the use of technology. May the peace that passes all understanding be with you now and always.

Peace, Pastor Joel and the people of Center Brunswick UMC  *Face masks are required.

Hope Lutheran Church Emergency Food Collection

TROY – On Saturday October 10th from 10am to 2 pm Hope Lutheran Church will host a non-perishable food drive-thru food collection. The church is located at 470 Winter Street Extension, Troy. Receipts will be distributed equally to Doors Of Hope, (West Sand Lake),and CoNCERNS- U,(Rensselaer).

Have you been wondering, “What can I do to help the hungry in my community?.” The need is urgent. Many families in Rensselaer County are food challenged and hungry. The local pantries are overwhelmed with request for assistance. Hope Lutheran has a long history of a commitment to feed the hungry. Now you can join in and help.

Additional incentive to come to this event will be a bake sale, home made goods from the loving hands of members of Hope. Cakes, cookies, pies, brownies, muffins, etc etc. All receipts from the bake sale will also be divided equally between the two pantries.

Please plan now to drive through and help the hungry. A project sponsored by the Social Action Committee of Hope Lutheran Church.
