Sand Lake Baptist Church Bible Study

Starting on June 22nd we will be offering a Bible Study on “A Case for Christ.” This six week study, beginning with Session #1, “The Investigation of a Lifetime,” will run every Thursday at 6pm to 7pm and will offer an examination of evidence from historical documentation as well as physical. In addition, results from scientific and medical studies will be discussed. As you can see, much that will be explored is actually outside of the Bible, but scripture will be discussed and compared as well.

This series is perfect for anyone who has, and has had, questions concerning our Lord. With the steady increase in population of our community and the lack of interest in our local churches, I’m lead to believe that there are more people with questions than ever before. This series may help you get those answers.

Based on a Best-Selling book, the author, Lee Strobel, is a prize winning journalist and one time atheist. He too had many questions and dug in deep to find the answers. The evidence was so overwhelming that he became a Christian. An example of the 20 questions explored are, “Why believe Jesus is the Son of God?”, “How can we know he rose from the dead?”, and “Can I have doubts and still be a Christian?”

There is no cost for this Bible Study as it has been generously donated. Please call 518-674-3316 to let us know your name and how many will be attending so we can ensure enough materials.

Please feel free to visit our website and FaceBook pages. As always you are welcome and encouraged to visit us at our regular Sunday service at 11am. I look forward to seeing you there. Until then, may the Lord bless you and yours.

Faithfully submitted, Deacon Russ
