On May 12, Sunday services will be 8:00 and 9:30am, followed by coffee hour in the Hearth Room.
There will be CRAFTING on Wednesday at 10:00. We invite you to learn, teach, enjoy crochet, knitting, etc. We have yarn available for those who those who want to try something new.
BIBLE STUDY continues at 6:00pm on Wednesday, with THE MISSION OF JESUS: TRIUMPH OF GOD’S KINGDOM IN A WORLD OF CHAOS featuring the teaching of Ray Vander Laan.
The lesson includes video of places Jesus visited during his life. Come at 5:30 for pizza.

Brunswick Church Vacation Bible School
Brunswick Church, 42 White Church Lane, Troy, NY announces that sign up for Vacation Bible School July 8-open. Children, ages 3 through completed 5th grade, are welcome. There is no cost to attend.
This year’s theme Roar – Life is Wild – God is Good.
Kids will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, and make great crafts that will include a do-it-yourself designed t-shirt and photo souvenir.

Jim Phelps from the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department, an accomplished trainer on this critical topic, will tour our church, lead us in up-to-date training on active shooter awareness and be available after the presentation to answer questions. All are welcome. Teens should be accompanied by a parent.
Tuesday, May 14 – 12:00 PM Senior Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall
Our sixth annual Change the World Sunday event on Sunday, May 19, beginning at 9:30 AM. Everyone (including the kids) will be participating in sharing and caring for the community outside our church walls this day. Visits to the VA Hospital with afghans, deliveries of potted flowers to Rosewood Rehabilitation Center, preparing lunches for the Homeless, working in the Luke Garden, touring the Humane Society in Menands, visiting shut-ins, making benches for a playground and more. Join us for a morning of working together to make someone’s day a little brighter and stay for lunch! All are welcome. Call the church office for more information.

Gilead Lutheran– Serving the Community
Please join us at Gilead Lutheran Church as we continue in our 277th year serving the community of Brunswick and surrounding communities with worship and outreach. Gilead is located on 308 Brick Church Road (Intersection of Route 278 and Route 7) in Center Brunswick. We invite you to join us as we continue our missions inside and outside the community and within our congregation. We provide God’s message, in a traditional liturgical setting, each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Gilead provides a free community dinner and food pantry the last Thursday of the month, Story Dinners every other month with free-will donations going to local charities and other outreach programs during the year.
