Brunswick Church Community Tent Sale

Brunswick Church is sponsoring a Tent & Bake Sale on Friday, April 12 – noon to 6 pm; and Saturday, April 13 – 9 am to 3 pm. The proceeds of this sale will benefit the Regional Food Bank’s Backpack Program. The sale will be held at Brunswick Church, Rt. 351 and White Church Rd. Items may be donated for the sale April 11 – 2 pm to 7 pm, and April 12 – 8 am to noon.

Hope United Methodist Church Takes You on a Journey to Easter

Everyone is invited to take a Journey to Easter during the 10:30 Sunday morning worship on Palm Sunday, April 14th. The service is interactive and intergenerational allowing adults and children to enter into the events of Holy Week. Watch Jesus enter Jerusalem. Taste the foods of Passover and join Jesus and his disciples in the Lord’s Supper, hear from the prisoner who escaped execution because Jesus took the cross that had been built for him.
The evening Palm Sunday service at 5:30 will feature a reading if the Passion and Holy Communion.
A Seder meal will be held at 5:30 on Holy Thursday. Reservations are required (518) 279-1403.
On Good Friday from 12:00 -3:00 the worship center will be open for quiet reflection.
Greet Easter morning at 6:30 a.m. with Pastor Dave Martin as he grills fish and interprets the Easter story.
At 10:30 raise your voice in praise and song as we greet the risen Lord.

Blooming Grove Reformed Church installs new Minister, Rev. Paige A. Convis

The Albany Classis of the Reformed Church in America is very pleased to formally install a Minister of Word and Sacrament, the Reverend Paige A. Convis at Blooming Grove Reformed Church at 4:00 pm on Sunday, the 14th of April, at 706 Bloomingrove Drive in Defreestville. A buffet will be served following the service. Reverend Convis earned her Master of Divinity at Western Theological Seminary. She also continues to serve as pastor of the Reformed Dutch Church of Schodack at Muitzeskill.

Please join us at Gilead Lutheran Church as we continue in our 277th year serving the community of Brunswick and surrounding communities with worship and outreach. Holy Week Services at Third Presbyterian Church

You are invited to join us at Third Presbyterian Church, as we celebrate and remember the events of Holy Week.

The week begins with Palm Sunday worship on April 14th at 10:30 a.m. where we will celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Maundy Thursday, April 18th, is a time to remember and reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. We will begin the evening with a light meal of soup and bread at 6:15 p.m. followed by worship with communion at 6:45. We will gather for worship on Good Friday, April 19th, at 6:30 p.m. to reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus and what it means for us. We will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the promise we have of new life in Him on Easter Sunday, April 21st, at 10:30 a.m. Childcare is offered for children under 5. Lenten Adult Sunday School at Hope Lutheran

During the Sundays of the Lenten season, Hope Lutheran Church, will hold a Sunday School Lenten Program for Adults at 9 AM, prior to the 10 AM service. Bring your own bible or one will be provided.
