Evolution and Creation – An Open Discussion

Mens’ Breakfast, Saturday February 9th (8am–9:30am). Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church (HFCAC), 484 Hill Rd, Hoosick Falls.

HELP US FIGURE OUT whether….. Based on the scientific evidence, is it more logical, rational and reasonable to believe that man is a spontaneous accident derived from blue-green algae? Or, based on that same scientific evidence, does it make more sense that you are a unique creation of a supernatural source? If available, please bring your old school textbook depicting toolmaking cavemen and or identifying the location of Mr. Lyell’s Geological Column. We will skim through some basic truths found in: Thermodynamics, the fossil record, Biogenesis, Genesis, Darwin’s Origin of Species, and “common sense.” Additionally, if you have any trilobites, transitional fossils or dinosaur bones (or are just plain “curious”), please come for the fellowship and fun. Every “2nd Saturday” at HFCAC – to enjoy (occasionally) non-controversial topics as above. For further info: Jim S. at stacylawconsulting@gmail. com or (518) 281-3228.
