Can Church Happen Anywhere?

AVERILL PARK – Ask anyone from the Church of the Covenant in Averill Park and the answer will be a resounding, “Yes!” In fact, our skilled leadership had a hybrid model of “church” in place as soon as things changed last spring. At present, out of an abundance of caution our building is closed for a few weeks, but our 9:30 am Sunday services are continuing as usual. We are delighted to be able to provide an opportunity to our neighbors far and wide to attend our church on Facebook. And we do mean “far” with viewers from the Capital District, Florida, and even Scotland tuning in. The service features plenty of music from our talented organist/pianist, our renowned choir (virtually), and guest soloists. And you can always count on an inspirational message from Pastor Joe Auslander. Why not plan on joining us for 45 minutes or so at 9:30 on Sunday? Pour yourself that second cup of coffee, set the Sunday paper aside for a bit, and tune in using the link https://www.facebook.com/COCAverillPark/
