September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! A library card gives you access to free books, movies, magazines, museum passes, digital collections, and more. Don’t have a library card? Come sign up this month and we’ll give you a special welcome gift! Signing up for a library card is easy – adults and teens 16+ need valid photo ID and a piece of mail showing their current address. Youth under age 16 need to bring their parent/guardian to sign them up.
We’re Seeking Halloween Costume Donations for our Costume Giveaway! Drop off any costumes and accessories during library hours from now through 10/13.

Fun Fall Crafts – Tues., 9/27, 3:00-6:00pm -Celebrate the fall by making a special craft to decorate your home!
Pajama Storytime – Tues., 9/27, 6:00pm – Feel free to wear your pajamas or bring a stuffed animal friend to this evening storytime! For ages birth to 8 years.
Learn & Play Storytime – Thurs., 9/29, 10:30am – Children from birth to age 5 are invited to enjoy stories, rhymes, music, and movement while building their early literacy and motor skills!
Teen Time: No-Knit Scarves – Thurs., 9/29, 4:00pm – Make your own scarf using yarn! This fun project doesn’t require any knitting ability. For teens in 6th-12th grades.
EG Library Book Sale
Fall Book and Media Sale – Thousands of used books, DVDs, and audiobooks for adults and children. Huge selection, low prices! Cash, check or credit card accepted. Voters Approve 2023 Budget of the North Greenbush Public Library
The Board of Trustees of the North Greenbush Public Library thanks the voters of the North Greenbush Library District for their overwhelming support of the 2023 budget.

Autumn Sign Painting at the Troy Public Library
Join the library as we paint and stencil wooden signs celebrating the fall season. Spice up your home décor or gift to family and friends. Paints, brushes, and wooden plaques will be provided. Use the autumn-themed stencils we have or create your own works of art. The program will be held Monday, October 3rd, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
This in-person event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. To register call the library at 518-274-7071 or register online at www.thetroylibrary.org. The Troy Public Library is located at 100 Second Street, Troy, NY.
East Bank Artists Exhibit at Sand lake Library
The East Bank Arts Alliance, including artists from upstate NY and the Hudson Valley, will exhibit their work at the Sand Lake Library Sept 6 – Oct 28.
Representing diverse styles , paintings done in oil, watercolor , pastel and acrylic will be shown. Photography, mixed media and ceramics will also be included.
A reception will be held at the library on Saturday Sept. 24 from 11am – 2pm . Member artists will be doing live demos of still life , landscape and drawing . Light refreshments will be served. The Exhibit will be hung in the meeting room of the Sand Lake Library , free , open to the public and available during regular Library hours. Everyone is welcome.
