The plan will be reviewed regularly. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to safely resume library services.

Sand Lake Town Library Update

SAND LAKE – The library staff and the Board of Trustees have been busy working on a phased reopening plan for when state, local and CDC guidelines allow us to start providing in-person services once again. Our aim is to have a thoughtful and carefully prepared plan based on guidance from the state, CDC, and Upper Hudson Library System which places the highest priority on the health and well-being of our staff and patrons. We hope to be able to offer contactless curbside pickup of local library materials starting June 8 and to expand to materials from other libraries quickly. Updates and any changes to this date will be placed on our website, along with our current hours and details on how to schedule a pickup of materials.

In the meantime, downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, music and movies remain available through our website. We also have regional events and a list of online “Things to do today…” on our website.

We thank you for your patience and ask you to bear with us as we move through the phases of reopening. Stay well – be well, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
