Ted Talks Coffee & Conversation-Topic: Black History Month Tues. 2/25 3pm- Join us for 2 Ted Talk presentations that offer fresh, thoughtful perspectives on Black identity. Ted Talks are inspiring talks based around ideas in technology, education, and design.

Rensselaer Public Library Events

RENSSELAER – Pre-K Storytime- Tuesdays at 11 am. Ages 2-6, no sign-up needed. Siblings welcome.

Teen Anime Club- Thursdays 5-7 PM. Ages 13-18. Watch anime, discuss manga and pop culture, and hang out with your friends. Special Halloween party October 31.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is February first! Stop in at our library to see all the things that we offer. 11 AM- story-time, 1 PM easy snack class for school-age children.

Day Before the Oscars Film Festival: Saturday February 8, 10:30 AM, we will show “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”. Please call to reserve your seat. Special raffle basket drawing will be held at event, refreshments served. Part of the East Greenbush Library film festival.

History Talk: Edmonia Lewis: Saturday, February 19 at 6:30 PM. Historian Bobbie Reno will talk about the famous African American sculptor who was born in Rensselaer. Please call to sign up.
