Garden Day at Brunswick Community Library
If spring is here, it must be almost Garden Day! The Friends of the Brunswick Library will be hosting our annual Garden Day on Saturday, June 8th, from 9:00 to 1:00 on the lawn of the library. All proceeds go toward supporting the library and their wonderful programs.
As always, we rely on contributions of plants and baked goods from members of the community to sell on Saturday morning. Now that the weather has finally started warming up, it is a good excuse to get out in the garden for a good cause! There will be local art and craft vendors as well as wonderful raffles.
Brunswick Community Library is located on 4118 NY 2, Troy, please stop by! Or check on our programs at brunswicklibrary.org or like us on Facebook. We look forward to seeing you.

Small Space Gardening Workshop
Master Gardener and Interior Designer Denise Maurer will be presenting a workshop entitled, Contain Your Garden on Thursday, May 23rd, at 3PM, prior to Nina’s Hidden Garden Tour, at the Troy Public Library’s Main Location.
You can get maxi gardening results in mini spaces. That’s the beauty of growing your favorite perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs or even trees in a container. And, since your garden is smaller, it minimizes the tending time. During the class you’ll learn how to select the right container, the plants that will work best for you, and all the “nitty-grittiest” to keep your garden happy and healthy.
This program is free and open to the public. Please make reservations by calling the library at 518-274-7071 or register online at www.thetroylibrary.org.
