Hello Warrior fans! For the third time this year, a sectional plaque is coming back to Averill Park. 

The baseball team faced Scotia in the Class A sectional semifinals on 5/23, where they won 8-3. Nicholas Galuski, Michael Wormuth, Steve Koval, Brady Mazzeo, and Ethan Nardacci all had RBIs in the win. Mazzeo also got the win on the mound, going five innings, only giving up two hits along with eight strikeouts. The baseball team advanced to the sectional finals on 5/27, where they defeated Mohonasen 5-4. Nardacci earned the win on the mound while also having three RBIs on the other end. After winning the section, the baseball team advanced to the regional tournament, beating Cortland 3-2 in the first round on 6/2. Alex Yash and Koval each had two hits in the win while Galuski had two RBIs. The baseball team went on to face Massena in the regional finals on 6/4, where they had a comfortable 13-0 win in five innings. The boys advance to the state semifinals to face Maine-Endwell on 6/10.

The boys lacrosse team beat Scotia 12-11 in the sectional semifinals on 5/24 thanks to a game winning goal from Jacob Phelps. Phelps and Ethan Jamison had five goals apiece while Luke Hempel added two more. The boys faced Burnt Hills in the sectional championship on 5/27, where they fell 21-7. Congratulations to the boys lacrosse team on a tremendous season!

The softball team faced Troy in the sectional semifinals on 5/24 where they fell 5-3. Abbey Nagel went 2-3 with an RBI in the loss. Congratulations to the softball team on a great season!
