AVERILL PARK – Hello Warrior fans. The fall 2 season concluded last week with the football and volleyball teams playing their final games. Averill Park is excited for the start of the spring sports season this week. Boys & girls lacrosse, track & field, baseball, softball, and boys tennis games are all currently underway.
Overcoming the heavy rain, our football team defeated Ballston Spa 17-8 on 4/29 to cap off a very successful 5-2 season. Congratulations to the football team on a tremendous season and best of luck to our seniors.
The girls volleyball team fell 7-25,9-25,12-25 to the #1 seeded Burnt Hills in the Suburban Council Tournament. Congratulations also to the girls volleyball team on a fantastic season and best of luck to our senior lady warriors.
